The City Hall of Lappeenranta is located in the city centre, at Villimiehenkatu 1, 531000 Lappeenranta. The main entrance to the City Hall is located on the west side of the building at the level of the ‘Kansalaistori’ square.
Lappeenranta Airport as well as railway and bus stations are only two kilometers from the City Hall. If you arrive by car, you will find several parking garages close to the City Hall. Please note that the City Hall’s own parking garage has very limited customer parking. Read more about downtown parking here here.
Lappeenranta is easy to reach from all over Finland. There are good connections with trains and buses. We prefer public transportation on arrival. You can also get to Lappeenranta with direct flights from Bergamo, Italy.

Arrival from Helsinki Airport
From Helsinki Airport you can take commuter train to Tikkurila, from where you can get a long distance train to Lappeenranta.
To travel to Tikkurila, you need the BC-ticket.
Tickets can be purchased from HSL mobile app, or from the ticket machine at the train platform.
