The Conference takes place in the City Hall of Lappeenranta which is located in the center of Lappeenranta, Finland. This year, the main theme of the event is Accelerating the Green Transition.

The conference fee is 125 € (+ VAT 24 %). The fee includes, in addition to the day program, a cocktail party on Tuesday evening.
Want to gain visibility for your company or organisation during the conference? Book a small stand for free in front of the Lappeenranta Hall, next to the conference auditorium. Your interest in the conference stand is asked on the registration form.
The City of Lappeenranta hosted the first Future Energy Solutions Conference (FES) on September 2021. The City together with LUT University organized the second Future Energy Solutions conference in November 2022 at LUT University. The main theme of the second conference, Towards an Energy Independent Europe, was very topical both regionally and Europe-wide. Over 30 speakers gave presentations for 300 participants in both conferences. The conferences featured high-level speakers from the European Commission, the Finnish government, companies and research communities.
